I’m going tonight to the holiday Atomic Holiday Bazaar in Sarasota. Are you? Come and meet me! I’ll be around all night 😀
The hubby and I went to Owen’s Fish Camp for a nice dinner before seeing a movie at Burns Court Cinema.
I ordered the Grilled Giant Prawns with Chili, Lime & Garlic ($13) which were a meal in themselves! Super tasty but way too spicy for the hubs! All the better because more for me 🙂
For my main, I ordered the Seared Sea Scallops with Braised Pork & Owen’s Succotash ($22) which WAS delicious but I could hardly even eat half after that starter! It was delicious though. I would love to have the recipe for the pulled pork so I can make my own sandwiches at home for it.
For dessert, we split the bourbon pecan pie which was HEAVENLY!! It was so tasty!! Much better than the blackberry pie I had here before. This was a homerun.
Final verdict: Food was delicious, but even better than last time. I can’t wait til the little one is here and I can enjoy oysters again 🙂
Today I went to lunch at one of my FAVORITE island spots – Siesta Key Oyster Bar, or SKOB as we locals call it 😉
It was delicious as usual. I got the fish tacos with amberjack. The hubby got the new “ragin’ cajun crawfish pizza” which was amazing! so tasty. i like the new changes to the menu. Can’t wait til I’ve had the little one and can enjoy a banana slider again 🙂
